The paints the wheel was built with.
Paints mixed to a colour code deviate visibly from the original. We supply exactly the OEM paints used in wheel production: ready-to-use paints, no mixing, all components matched to each other from the powder primer to the acrylic clear powder.

How the range is structured
OEM powder primer
Gloss grey or gloss black, each outgassing-resistant. The basis for adhesion and filling, as in wheel production.
OEM basecoats
Premium and standard metallic basecoats, each solvent-based or as a water-based Hydro variant, plus Uni Color basecoat and tinted clear coats.
OEM acrylic powder
Clear or matt acrylic powder as a seal. Acrylic clear powder MW-AC1+ high gloss: 18 kg for €388.72 net (€21.60/kg), in stock.
Application note
OEM wheels are powder primed and then wet painted. The original paints must be applied at an object temperature of 80 °C; the wet paint dries on the still-warm primed surface. An oven is required for this. That is why our powder coating lines offer an integrated wet paint spray booth.
You will find a selection of original paints in the online shop. If you cannot find the shade you need, ask us for it. The OPT2COLOR database handles the assignment of part number to coating system.
