Wheel repair · Tyre service
Gentle fitting, perfect balance.
No steering wheel shimmy, no vibrations: we fit tyres on latest-generation automatic machines and balance with laser guidance. Specialised in large sizes, low-profile and run-flat tyres.

- from €30per wheel incl. removal, fitting and laser balancing
- up to 28"fitting possible
- Run-flatcertified fitting workshop (RFT, RSC, SSR)
Why laser-guided
Contactless contour capture
The tyre changer captures the wheel contour with a laser light band. Wheel and tyre are not damaged. We guarantee it.
Clamping via the bolt circle
For balancing, the wheel is clamped via the bolt holes, not the centre bore. This compensates for manufacturing tolerances, and contactless data capture rules out operator error.
Weights behind the spokes
The laser detects the spoke positions. Balance weights are placed invisibly behind the spokes, in colour if you wish.

Tyre markings: load index and speed rating
Load index
The load index on the tyre sidewall states the maximum load capacity per tyre. Example: 225/40 R18 92Y, where 92 stands for 630 kg.

Speed rating
The speed rating states the maximum permitted driving speed. A safety margin applies when selecting tyres: the vehicle's design top speed × 0.01 + 6.5 km/h. Example: 205 km/h → 8.55 km/h margin → 213.55 km/h. An H tyre (210 km/h) is then not sufficient; V (240 km/h) is required. The entry is not binding; the manufacturer or the KBA (German Federal Motor Transport Authority) may demand a higher class. Winter and all-season tyres with a lower rating are permitted if a warning sticker is fitted in the driver's field of view and speed is limited accordingly.
| Rating | km/h | Rating | km/h |
|---|---|---|---|
| P | 150 | H | 210 |
| Q | 160 | V | 240 |
| R | 170 | VR | over 210 |
| S | 180 | ZR | over 240 |
| T | 190 | W | 270 |
| U | 200 | Y | 300 |
Rolling circumference when changing sizes
When changing the wheel and tyre combination, deviations in rolling circumference of +1% or −4% are permitted. Any other deviation requires a speedometer recalibration. On all-wheel-drive vehicles the factory tolerances between front and rear axle must be observed without exception. We will advise you on choosing suitable sizes.
Questions about tyre service
Why does the wheel have to be balanced after refurbishment?
Removing and refitting the tyre changes the mass distribution of the wheel. Laser balancing restores smooth running and reveals run-out problems that require separate laser measurement.
Is fitting 28-inch tyres safe?
Yes. The machines are designed for large sizes and low-profile tyres and capture the wheel contour without contact.
Can I bring my own tyres?
Yes, fitting customer-supplied tyres is possible at extra cost.
Do you also fit tyres on the vehicle?
No. The tyre service is provided exclusively as part of wheel refurbishment, on wheels removed from the vehicle.
Have the tyres fitted at the same time?
State in your request whether the wheels will be delivered with tyres.
