Wheel repair · Stripping & blasting

The paint has to come off. Gently.

Every durable coating begins with a clean substrate. We strip chemically and with care for the environment in a cold process, then blast with a fine grit. Also available as a stand-alone service for wheel professionals and restorers.

Two processes, one goal

  • Soft chemical stripping

In the cold stripping bath even stubborn coatings dissolve, without heat and without mechanical stress. We avoid overly aggressive stripping agents and work gently on the material.

  • Sand and glass bead blasting

A latest-generation blasting cabinet produces extremely smooth surfaces with a fine grit. Residual paint, oxidation and corrosion are completely removed afterwards and the wheel is ready for coating.

Why this matters for your wheel

A powder coating that sits on old layers of paint comes off again together with the old layer. That is why we rebuild every finish on bare, blasted aluminium: stripping, blasting, powder primer, colour, acrylic powder clear coat. Stripping and blasting are included in all repair and coating prices.

As a stand-alone service, for example for businesses that coat the wheels themselves afterwards, we quote prices on request. For workshops that want to introduce the process themselves, we supply stripping tanks, cold stripping agents and blasting cabinets.
