Wheel preparation
Kerb damage is removed with a drill, angle grinder and abrasives. That remains manual work. The workstation for it can be optimised: the MW-RT1 turntable holds the wheel at working height and rotates it via foot pedal, and the MW-TM1 fits tyres without scratches.
The MW-RT1 is derived from the principle of a tyre changer: external clamping, foot pedal for both directions of rotation. We have dispensed with expensive functions that are unnecessary here, such as the mounting arm. The result is a turntable at a fraction of the cost, with a back-friendly working height, ideal for wheel repair and pre-treatment under rotation.
After refinishing or repairing a wheel, tyre fitting decides the result: gentle removal and fitting is a must. The MW-TM1 handles all tyre types up to 28 inch, run-flat tyres and very wide low-profile tyres. The self-centring clamping system with replaceable protective sleeves and the plastic sliders protect the freshly coated surface.
